I found the video of the runway show! As I promised here is the video. I hope you like it as much as I did. Also read yesterdays post (here) to know more about this show that is held every year by Chanel.

Remember Chanel’s Indian inspired runway show last year? If not please take a look at my previous post. This year the Chanel runway show took place in Scotland in the ruins of the Linlithgow Palace. I tried my best to find the video of the runway show but because this happened a few hours ago I couldn’t find anything except some media coverages. I will post the video on the blog as soon as I can find it. But for now we can settle for highlights of the collection. So please look at the photos below and just dream.
Ps. There is one photo below of a man with a child. I wish that is how I will be looking on a typical day 10 to 15 years down the line taking a stroll with my child. Enjoy it and just dream!

The same time last year Chanel created an extravagant runway show in Paris. The inspiration to this collection was Bombay, India. I have posted this video to show you how beautiful the setting and collections were. As this post will be the backdrop of the next post please make sure to read the post that is soon to come. The next post is about this year’s runway show (which took place a few hours ago) it was set in Scotland in the ruins of Linlithgow Palace.
I hope you enjoy last years collection and don’t forget to read the next post, so you can see how beautiful the Scottish inspired show turned out to be. Enjoy!
Roger Vivier created a pair of shoes which I like to call ‘different’ I may not be a big fan. But I must admit they are a show stopper, I feel like it is something Sarah Jessica Parker would wear. Like any other article of clothing it should be worn correctly. Up until now I might have to see them in real life to be convinced, but I had to show them to you to help me decide if we like them or not.
I believe we always need to look at pieces from the past and look at their beauty. Jewelry for past royalty is one of the things that I love to see. Because they were the ones that stood to define elegance and grace. Moreover they were one of the few that had the money to buy the best of what the world had to offer. Today I want to look back at the Noor-Ol-Ain Tiara (It was named after the Noor-Ol-Ain pink diamond which is used in it- the pink diamond is one of the largest pink diamonds in the world). The tiara was given to The Empress Farah Pahlavi as a gift from her husband Shah Mohammed Reza on their wedding day. It was made and designed by Harry Winston.
I just saw this video yesterday and I just had to share it with you! It was uploaded two days ago and it tells the story of two women walking along the Seine River, to meet their waiting Riva. Morning turns to afternoon. Nightfall descends and they are off to take part in the vibrant Parisian nightlife.
The dresses and their detailing are just pure beautiful, it somehow puts you in this dreamy mood.
Over the past month we have seen many designers derive their inspirations from Disney princesses. The world’s top designers have created dresses for ever Disney princess (Click here to see the dresses). While Chopard created the jewelry for them (Click here to see the jewelry). Now that the princesses have the most beautiful dresses and jewelry in all the realm, all that they need is their shoes. So who better than Louboutin can create shoes for princesses? Take a look!
Also watch how much detail goes into the making of these shoes.
So before reading this post scroll down to the post below for an explanation about these two posts. Nevertheless, I just came across this Chanel handbag, it’s part of Chanel’s Versailles cruise collection. To me this Chanel handbag is what Marie Antoinette would have worn if Chanel was her designer. I hope you like it as much as I did!

A few days ago I came across a dress by Maison Martin Margiela, which I loved. It may look like a simple dress but it is actually a horizontal dress on top of the dress, the creativity behind it is pure genius. Still confused on how its made? Take a look at the pictures below they will help you visualize it. The pictures show two women who have worn it in different ways, which I think will make it clearer.
Today I couldn’t help myself but blog about these Alexander McQueen pumps. In the eyes of many theses pumps are classic, but that’s exactly why I like them. No matter how modern I am or try to be, I can’t help but fall back to classics. They are the basis of what we have today, it’s like saying we will not celebrate The Parthenon or The Colosseum because they are too old. We will always be marveled and struck by the beauty of old and classical objects and buildings, which we can use to help inspire us to move further into a more modern era. So I believe we should celebrate classical objects and lets start by loving these McQueen pumps.

I know I have been talking a lot about jewelry for the past few weeks but I can’t help myself admire and appreciate such exquisite pieces. A few days ago Cartier launched an ad campaign called “Winter Tale”, the story revolves around two panther cubs that take us on a journey through a snow covered land as they reveal pieces from Cartier’s collection. The film manages to take you to a different dimension and somehow allows you to dream. In the film the cubs will encounter pieces from both women’s and men’s collections.

I came across this Ferragamo coat today, and I couldn’t help but realize how much of an anticipation a coat can create. Imagine a woman walking into a room with a beautiful coat on, wouldn’t you be eagerly waiting to see what she would be wearing underneath? I know I would be!

Dear Dior is the name of this season’s line of Haute Joaillerie. The inspiration of this collection came from lace and oriental jewelry. Take a look at my favorite pieces, all of the below pictures are rings except for one pair of earrings. Enjoy!
P.s. click on the pictures for them to expand.
