In May 2012 Dior launched a short film called Secret Garden – Versailles. A few days ago Dior uploaded a new short film named Secret Garden 2 – Versailles. I am fascinated by the gold necklace in the film, I tell you I would turn twice if I see a woman who wears that necklace. Underneath the video there are a few still shots that inspire me and help me visualize a woman that I would personally design for.
Today Christian Dior previewed their Fall 2013 couture collection in Paris. Here are my favorite looks from the collection:

The other day I came across these Christian Dior metal Cannage platform pumps and I am obsessed with them. What I love about them is that they scream out Dior but in an elegant way like the Louboutin red sole. What’s beautiful about them is that they are timeless and elegant.
So The Cannes Film Festival ended and I can’t get over the looks and the jewelry. The things that I would do to be in Cannes this time of year. The celebrities wore Elie Saab, Dolce and Gabbana, Marchesa, Zuhair Murad, Chopard, Dior, Bulgari and thats to name a few. Here are my favorite looks from The Cannes Film Festival.

As a studio art minor one of the classes that I chose to take was a multimedia arts class. As the semester comes to an end our projects are due soon. So yesterday I spent my entire day at the film lab at American University trying to create this video. I decided to collect shots and images from different designer advertisements, movies, and music videos to create the video. This video has parts from 2 Dior advertisements, an Elie Saab advertisement, a part from The Great Gatsby trailer, Wicked Games by The Weeknd, Pri-Madonna Girl by Marina and The Diamonds, and an advertisement for H&M. Your feedback is appreciated, so if there is anything wrong I could fix it before its due. I hope you like it!
My friend contacted me yesterday asking for advice on which bag to buy as a graduation present from her parents.Our finalists were as follows: The Louis Vuitton Alma bag in Indian Rose, The Dolce & Gabbana beige sicily bag, the blue Lady Dior bag, and the orange Alexander McQueen Heroine.

This Christian Dior collection reminds me of the 80’s because the prints used on the dresses as well as the loose fitting. Here are my favorite looks from the collection:

Many stars walked down the red carpet, but the following stars are the ones that stood out the most for me. Â I especially loved Jennifer Lawrence’s Dior Couture dress. Also I loved how Jennifer Lawrence’s fall showed the full beauty of the dress. Charlize Theron also wore a Dior Couture dress. While Amy Adams wore an Oscar de la Renta.

It has been rumored that Anna Wintour skipped Obama’s inauguration to just to be at the Christian Dior runway show. So as expected the runway show was spectacular, I think we have just found the garden of heaven and everyone is wearing Dior Couture. Here are my favorite pieces from the collection.

I loved the belts that were included in the collection, it visually gives the wearer a smaller waist. Furthermore, during the collection many shirts and suits and a geometrical design in it (the circle with the triangle in the middle), I may not be the biggest fan of this print or shape, but I enjoyed the collection as a whole.
