I have always been fascinated by the idea of sunglasses by how it conceals our faces and how we channel our own personalities by the frames we choose to wear. I found a pair of sunglasses by Thom Browne, which reminded me of the goggles pilots used to wear to fly an open cockpit airplane.

I have mentioned quite a few times how much I love jackets and coats well here is another one! This time its by Alexander McQueen. What I love about it is its simplicity and the integration of the colors grey, black, and brown which makes it easier to wear with anything from your closet.

Two days ago I talked about how I loved riding boots on men although not many can pull it off, but nevertheless its a statement! The riding boots I posted previously were made by Ralph Lauren and they were in black. Well today I came across these brown ones by Gucci. I believe when wearing casual shoes one must choose colors other than black, while leaving the black for formal attire. My jaw dropped today when I saw these riding boots.

As I have mentioned many times before coats are one of my favorite clothing articles to purchase in the winter and one of my favorite coats are made by Burberry. Whether its iconic trench coat or any other coat that walks the runway, I always manage to fall in love with it. Here is a coat that I came across recently, it is from last years collection, but I love it!
I have always loved the leather men riding boots by Ralph Lauren. Such a statement! I do not know if I can personally pull them off, but the beautiful leather with the tucked-in pants, are personally one of the greatest casual looks, though not many men can pull it off! This season my favorite ones are these black Vinn Calf Boot.

I wasn’t considering changing my sunglasses this year from how much I love them (they are the Suprema Persols in Havana). But today I came across these sunglasses, if I were in the market for sunglasses I would have grabbed them in a second. They are Giorgio Armani, they channel John Lennon and they look amazing when you put them on. They are from the Fall/Winter 2012 collection.

I received a photo that inspired me to write this post. One of my favorite things to go shopping for is shoes. I love how you can dress down or dress up the outfit with the shoes you are wearing. I also love statement shoes. How many men are willing to wear green, purple,red, and yellow shoes? Not many! Today I came across this jacket by Belstaff. All I have to say is I love jackets and I am in love with this one! I also appreciate the fact that it is made out of PVC – although it may be hard to maneuver in- but this is a statement piece!

If you are a fan of the movie The Devil Wears Prada you will automatically know what accessory I am taking about! Nigel’s (Stanley Tucci) ring. Ever since I have seen the movie his ring has always been on my mind. He showed me how easy it is for men to pull off wearing the right statement ring. I have been searching for a statement ring as this for a while now and I hope I end up finding it! The picture I found of the ring does not do justice to how it really is. I searched for the photo, watched every clip of the movie posted online but cant find the specific scene that I wanted. Oh well I guess I have to settle for this photo. Remember the days when everyone had a TechnoMarine, the days when the ability to change the watch straps was ingenious? Well TechnoMarine watches may be making a comeback. I have recently seen them in many stores around the world. But this time around I believe they are targeting the men’s market more. In the early 2000’s men were not open to wearing colored watches they limited themselves to black, brown, silver, and gold. But now men want to differentiate themselves they want their watch to stand out so they are more accepting of wearing colored watches.

So now that fashion week has ended I can actually go back to talking about men’s and women’s fashion rather than just concentrating on the women’s runway shows. So today I actually checked out Zara’s online store to take a glimpse of what I want to buy for Fall. I found four pieces that I liked, a crossover cardigan, cable knit trousers, harem pants, and a tuxedo collar sweater. I hope you like them!

It has been a while since I have discussed men’s clothing and accessories, but today I want to talk about men accessorizing. As watches become more statements pieces, unlike the old days where they needed a watch to tell the time, men started becoming more daring and willingly to wear accessories. Today I want to show you to companies that produce statement bracelets for men- Miansai and STL ShareTheLove bracelets. Miansai is a known brand and you can purchase their products either online,or through J.Crew, or through Mr. Porter. But STL ShareTheLove is actually a Milan start up company that has been getting some hype in the fashion world, Many high profile fashion bloggers as well Anna Del Russo and Paolo Stella have been spotted wearing them. I believe they will be must haves in the few months to come. In my previous post I spoke about Gucci’s Spring 2013 women’s collection. Well now its the men’s turn! Wanted to pull of printed pants? These are the best example! Previewed by Gucci in the men’s 2013 Spring collection- I could just imagine the perfect scenario to wear them in! Imagine yourself on a boat or walking the docks en route to dinner on a beautiful summer night, overlooking the ocean/sea after a day of swimming and tanning, I would want to be wearing theses pants! They are comfortable, great looking, and a statement what more can a person ask for? Definitely a 2013 must have!

It has been a while that I have been looking for the ultimate shoes that could be worn for an upbeat dinner party or a night out in town. Somewhere were you really want to stand out but in a subtle way, well this is how I would do it! With my obsession with shoes! Well here are two options a Giuseppe Zanotti and a Christian Louboutin. I would take the Zanotti any day! But I believe the Louboutin can be worn more easily therefore, it can be worn more. But the Zanotti shoes are a statement!!

SO today my favorite piece of the day is the come back of the double breasted suit! The 80’s and 90’s double breasted suit I believe where unflattering but now that it accents your body and form it adds a certain umph like never before. Also the cuffing of the pants have made a comeback (but shorter of course!!!) ! Now that men shoes are becoming more and more statements, it tends to show the shoes and give a certain look! And you know what people say! “suits to women are like lingerie to men” so grab an amazing suit! I personally cant wait till I fill my wardrobe with suits to go to work with every day !!
